Morris Police Department




 The City of Morris Police Department is currently accepting applications for an immediate opening for the position of Police Officer. All applicants must be licensed peace officers in the State of Minnesota, or be eligible to be licensed by P.O.S.T. by time of hire, and possess, or eligible for a Minnesota Class D Driver’s license. The hiring process will include an oral interview, passing of a basic obstacle course, physical and psychological examinations.


The city provides a great benefit package and highly competitive pay in West Central Minnesota.  Police Officer salary range: $22.72-$30.31 per hour depending on qualifications.  For lateral candidates, the department’s pay scale will correspond with the number of years, up to Step-4 as a full-time officer with other agencies.
