Morris Police Department





The City of Morris, Minnesota is seeking a Police Chief to oversee the direction and administration of a department that includes 8 licensed peace officers and 2 civilian employees and has a budget of $980,000.  Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, police science, business or public administration, or related field.  A Master’s degree is highly desirable.  Experience should include a minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible law enforcement experience including three years of command, management and administrative responsibility.  You must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Minnesota as a Peace Officer.  Salary Range is $76,000 to $84,000 depending upon qualifications.
